Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Yes. We are currently licensed with the state of Washington. We carry a $6,000 bond and a 1 million dollar insurance policy.
What brand of paint do you recommend?
We strongly recommend Sherwin Williams brand paints but any quality paint manufacturer’s top line products should perform well.
Do you include paint in your estimates?
Yes and we typically charge the owner the current retail price per gallon.
Can I supply my own paint?
Yes but depending on the brand and/or age of the paint in may void our warranty.
What type of warranty or guarantees do you offer?
We stand behind all or our work and offer a no hassle warrantee on all coatings against blistering, peeling, or fading. 5 years on interior surfaces. 5 years on exterior siding. 2 years on decks and railings.
Do you repair drywall blemishes before painting interior?
Yes. All interior painting proposals include repairing minor drywall blemishes and texture touch up as needed (these would include filling nail holes, gouges, cracks and caulking where needed). Larger drywall repair jobs are subject to change orders and extra charges upon the owner’s request.
Do you offer senior discounts?
Yes. Upon notification that the owner is a senior citizen (over age 62) we will give a 10% discount when invoices are generated.
Do you power wash before you paint exterior?
Yes. We apply mild bleach water solution the entire exterior of building then use a power washer to gently clean the building of dirt, grime, and mildew. Power washing should NEVER be used as a paint removal tool although some loose paint will inevitably flake off during the process.
Can you paint vinyl siding?
Yes. With recent innovations in the painting industry we are now able to paint vinyl siding.
Do you power wash roofs?
Yes and No. Power washing and roof cleaning is included in the list of services we provide however only certain types of roofs should be power washed such as metal, clay, and cedar shingle. We do not recommend power washing asphalt composition roofs as it can decrease the life of the roof and loosen the fasteners used to hold down the shingles.
How do you remove moss from roofs?
We apply a liquid zinc oxide solution to mossy surfaces witch ensures complete saturation. The products we use while following the manufactures recommendations are safe for people, pets, and plants.
